Mosman Café delivers on high customer expectations with Tork products

Nestled in the grounds of the old Mosman golf club, in a stunning 1930s sandstone mansion overlooking Sydney Harbour, Burnt Orange Café has recently switched to a range of Tork® Professional Hygiene products, and it’s easy to see why. “Our customers expect a certain level of quality and what we had wasn’t up to scratch,” says Assistant Manager, Kevin Kileen.  
 
Tork LinStyle® Napkins are the highest quality disposable napkins with a natural looking linen emboss and exceptional softness. “Customers think the napkins are real linen,” Kileen says adding that one customer liked the napkin softness so much he asked to buy a packet to take home. The napkins are also FSC® certified, biodegradable and certified food contact safe.
 
But the real clincher is that the pre-folded LinStyle napkins give staff more time to service customers. “We save around six hours a week of staff time by using the 8-fold napkins,” Kileen reveals. “Staff used to have to fold every napkin to set the tables and if we ran out during service we would take staff off the floor to fold more.” 
 
At the staff wash station, the ease of use of Tork products comes up again. “Refilling the hand towel and soap dispenser is quick and easy, which is great when you are busy,” says head Barista Lucinda Earlam. The high capacity of the Tork Elevation Hand Towel and Foam Soap dispensers also means they need to be refilled less often.
 
Burnt Orange Café averages around 250 covers per day during the week and up to 600 per day on weekends and is open for breakfast, morning tea, lunch and high tea and also operates a kiosk and function room catering for 120 guests. The management team recognise the importance of the overall experience for customers and have also rejuvenated the bathrooms with coordinated Tork Elevation dispensers.
 
Set in upmarket Mosman on Sydney’s north shore, the expectation of quality is understandable. And the changes Burnt Orange has made are working a treat – the good reviews keep coming.
