Third party certifications ensure our products live up to claims and provide reassurance for you.

Tork has the largest number of third party certifications in the professional hygiene market. We use life cycle impact data to inform our decision-making and measure the impact of changes. Life cycle assessment data is used to assess the product’s impact across its whole life including energy use, material sourcing, transportation and product end of life.

FSC

FSC^® (Forest Stewardship Council^®) is a third-party independent certification for responsibly sourced wood and wood fiber materials such as pulp. FSC bears the highest recognition among forest certification and works actively to protect animal habitat, indigenous peoples’ rights, worker’s rights, and areas of significant environmental or cultural importance.

EPD

An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is an independently verified and registered document containing transparent and comparable data about the environmental impact of a product through its life cycle.

ECNZ

Environmental Choice New Zealand (ECNZ) operates to international specifications requiring a reduction of impact over the product life cycle.

EU Ecolabel

This is the European Union’s labeling scheme for products that meet one of the worlds highest environmental standards. Tissue products with the EU Ecolabel certification that meet this standard are made from recycled fiber or virgin fiber from 100% Sustainably managed forests.

Blauer Engel

Blauer Engel is the world’s first environmental label, used in Germany. It sets high standards for environmentally friendly product design and has proven itself over the past 40 years as a reliable guide for a more Sustainable consumption.
